Year 7 Restaurant Challenge at St Paul's Girls' School
On Tuesday 21st January, eight Year 7 students took part in the Restaurant Challenge held at Saint Paul’s Girls’ School during which they designed and presented a business proposal for a new start-up restaurant concept. The students demonstrated strong leadership, excellent communication skills and entrepreneurship, as well as confidence and courage.
Two groups from BDA were selected for the winning prizes of Best Presentation and Best Concept and received doughnuts as their rewards!
There are some quotes from the students below. Well done all for a super day!
Anisa: "It was a great experience that has helped me gain confidence in speaking in front of others and working as part of a team.”
Afra: “It was great to meet new people and collaborate on our ideas.”
Abdi:“Today helped prepare me for future opportunities such as running my own business one day. We had to take into account strategy, SWOT analysis, finances, marketing and leadership.”
