World Book Day 4th March

Sunday 28 February 2021

It is World Book Day on Thursday 4th March. As such, there are going to be some exciting activities for you to get involved in to celebrate your love of books and reading. All the activities are below and there are prizes available!

Book Vouchers: Get your £1 book voucher HERE. This can be used for any of the special £1 World Book Day books or to get £1 off any book of your choice!

Missing Pages: World Book Day has teamed up with Women's History Month for another four weeks of Missing Pages. Read extracts from female authors about the female experience (relevant to us all!) and send responses to Mr Braimah or Ms Tiney. Look out for details on SMHW.

BDA Bookmark Competition: Create a bookmark, using the template on Show My Homework, and be in with a chance of creating the official BDA Bookmark! Prizes are available and the winning bookmark will be printed and sold for charity! Send your submission to Ms Tiney (details on SMHW).

BDA Online Library and Book Review Videos: Go to the BDA Online Library for a huge range of books, both fiction and non-fiction and of all genres - CLICK HERE. You can also see your teachers review books from our World Book Day webpage below!

As well as these exciting opportunities, you can join an online National Book Club by CLICKING HERE, and explore the Ark-wide World Book Day activities by CLICKING HERE.
