A Trip to Jamie's Farm

A group of students from years 7, 8 and 9 spent this week at Jamie’s Farm enjoying the routines of rural life.

As well as taking in the fresh air, the boys tried their hands at some hard graft – turning the compost, helping with the animals and even delivering a lamb or two.

The group also took part in a butchery demonstration, helping them understand meat’s journey from the farm to our plates, and cooked their own food over an open barbeque.

Jamie’s Farm commented on Twitter: “We’re half full not half empty here at Jamie’s Farm with great kids .”
