Sixth Formers Hijack Year 9 Class
Monday 24 February 2014
A troupe of talented BDA sixth formers hijacked a Year 9 geography class on Wednesday afternoon, teaching students all about development.
The group prepared a stimulating lesson, complete with excellent resources, for the eager Year 9s to sink their teeth into.
Looking at political, economic, social and historical factors, the class had to decide which category holds the greatest sway when it comes to a country’s development. Once this was established they split into groups and a passionate debate ensued.
Well done to Alabama Nutt and Ryan Tasker for some excellent contributions, but particular thanks must be said to the sixth formers for what was a fantastic session.
