Schools minister David Laws took time during his busy schedule to visit BDA this week. The high-profile Lib Dem popped in for a chat with Dame Sally about assessment, before quickly touring the school and dropping in on a few a classes.

Dame Sally said: “I was very pleased to see Mr Laws. He is interested in looking at our systems and how we manage to do so well. He was really impressed with the school.”
