A Music Mark School

Wednesday 23 September 2020

We are delighted to announce that the school has been recognised as a ‘Music Mark’ school, having been nominated by the Tri-Borough Music Hub as a result of the outstanding music offer to students at BDA. The assessors said of BDA: “the value that you place on music and your commitment to a broad and balanced curriculum has been recognised, and as a result, we would like to celebrate it.”

Head of Performing Arts, Mrs Egan, said "We are delighted to become a ‘Music Mark’ school, in recognition of the wide array of musical opportunities offered to our students. Music has always played a key part in developing the whole child at BDA. From the facilities, which include a music tech suite, practice rooms and a recording studio, through to the wide range of extra curricula opportunities such as performing in our school musical and winter concert, we are proud to support every student in making music a life-long passion.

Many thanks to Miss Friar and our incredible team of peripatetic teachers for their ongoing hard work and dedication.”
