Make 2014 a Year to Remember
With the Christmas break over, we are very happy to welcome you back to Burlington Danes for what promises to be another fantastic term.
Hopefully your holidays were filled with joy, rest and reflection, and you have all returned with positive attitudes, prepared to work hard and reap the rewards as a result.
As is tradition, many staff members have been making New Year’s resolutions, with a few already signing up to run half marathons in the coming months, and we urge you – if you haven’t already – to take a moment and consider what challenges you might like to overcome.
Is there a sport you’ve always wanted to try, a club that sounds interesting, or does your homework simply need a little more attention? If any of this sounds familiar now is the time to sign up, get involved and make a change for the better.
Use the turn of the year as a fresh start if needs be and begin as you mean to go on, with achievement at the fore of all that you do.
As long as you always do your best, with the support of your teachers you are sure to succeed. Make 2014 a year to remember.
