Experience in the Media Industry

Well done to Maeveline Umayam, Wendy Jiannioulis, Valexus Robinson, Rafiya Williams, Taylor Omigie, Amera Abdi, Maryam Garad, Reem Salha, Hajar Benmehdia and Elizabeth Solomon, who all attended a careers event with Miss Farchy on Tuesday.
Students were given the opportunity to meet professionals from various media-related careers and discuss how best to get experience in the industry.
The group were focussed and professional in front of the mentors. A particular mention must be made of Gianina, who was offered work experience at Sky, and Rafiya, who was offered work experience at the Wellcome Collection.
