Dell - Powering Potential
Six of our Year 12 students have been lucky enough to be selected for the Dell – powering potential programme. This is an intensive 4 day workshop on employability skills and career mentoring within the technology industry with Dell mentors.
Students have currently completed two of their workshops and have had the opportunity to network with current Dell mentors alongside the Vice President of the UK public sector for Dell, Richard Rawcliffe.
Students received a tour of the software engineering suite at Dell EMC and a chance to try out some of their new products. In the following workshops, students will be creating and pitching their own ideas on how to make technology more sustainable in public use. The main aim of the workshop is to develop key employability skills and knowledge.
