Brilliant Club University Trip
Twenty-four students from Year 8&9 are taking part in the prestigious Brilliant Club Scholars Programme.
Having attended a launch trip at Goldsmiths, University of London to discover university life, which Rayan (Year 8) described as “eye-opening”, the students are now working in university-style tutorial groups alongside a PhD tutor on a project based on their research.
The trip included a campus tour, Q&A session, study skills sessions and an introduction to the programme.
Our Year 8 cohort is looking at literary theory, whilst Year 9 are working with an Oxford University tutor studying neuroscience. On successful completion of their mini dissertations, our students will once again visit a top-ranking university for their graduation trip. We are very proud of their work and dedication they’ve shown so far and look forward to when they themselves can fulfil the role of PhD tutor in the future!
