The main change we are proposing is to reduce the Published Admissions Number (PAN) for Year 7 from 180 to 120 from September 2026. The reason for this change is that current application numbers across the local area, and future forecasts, do not support the need for a PAN of 180 students.
There are no proposed changes to the school’s oversubscription criteria.

Correspondence should be headed “Ark Burlington Danes Admissions Policy Consultation 2025”.
The consultation closes on 22nd December 2024, all comments should be received by this date.
Next Steps
Once public consultation has closed, Ark Schools (the admissions authority for Ark Burlington Danes Academy) will consider all feedback to the proposed admissions arrangements and make recommendations for final changes, where relevant. The final admissions arrangements will be determined by the Ark Schools Management Team before 28th February 2025 and published on the academy’s website.
