I am delighted and proud to welcome you to Ark Burlington Danes Primary Academy. We are a growing school in a state-of-the-art primary building, but on an all-through site with our secondary phase at Ark Burlington Danes – which can trace its origins back to 1699.

We opened the doors to our first pupils in September 2015. Our mission statement is ‘Believe, Dream and Persevere to Achieve’. We believe in a school where a love of learning and resilience leads to fantastic results for our children; we are proud of the results that our children attain in Early Years, in phonics and at Key Stage 1 SATs and beyond. But we always aim high and keep learning.

Ark Burlington Danes Primary is a friendly, safe and happy school, where everyone is respected and listened to. We take pride in our achievements, celebrate success and recognise the unique talents of our children and staff. Our BDPA curriculum is built around key first-hand experiences and high-quality literature – these build our pupils’ cultural capital and enable them to grow, flourish and be well-prepared for the challenges of our secondary phase education and their university or career choice beyond.

I look forward to meeting you to tell you more about our wonderful school and how to get involved in our school community.
