Secondary School Entrance Changes

From Monday 14th January our entrance on Wood Lane will be open to students only until 8:55am. Students will also leave via this entrance as usual at the end of the school day. Any students arriving after 8.55am will have to enter via the Du Cane Road entrance and register at the all-through reception, which is located in the Primary. They will then be escorted to their lessons.

All visitors, parents and guests will arrive and leave via the Du Cane Raod entrance, at all times and also check in to the all-through reception.

The all-through reception is reached by following the pavement around to the left and entering the primary building.

VICTORY FOR YEAR 8 RUGBY TEAM IN REGIONAL FINALS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Year 8 rugby team have finally beaten their arch rivals, Hammersmith Academy, to become the Cross Borough West London Schools Champions!

Following three successive defeats, one being at last year’s final, the result on Wednesday meant that the boys’ hard work and commitment to training and peripatetic sessions had finally paid off, with much of the squad enjoying a debut season in the sport.

The gains and improvements made by a number of the players has been pleasing to see. Special mentions must be made for Raul Mancini, Ojay St-Louis, Daniel Blackburn and Warren Nunn who have really flourished over the past 6 weeks.

Finally, to Marc Aboua and Usher Bigas for their prolific try scoring form and to Patrick Quiligan, the captain, who has continued to lead from the front row with excellent line-breaks and fantastic communication skills.

Well done to all 17 squad members who all deserve the silverware! After Christmas the Rugby 7s season starts. For more information please see Mr Thornton or any member of the PE team.
