Secondary School Entrance Changes

From Monday 14th January our entrance on Wood Lane will be open to students only until 8:55am. Students will also leave via this entrance as usual at the end of the school day. Any students arriving after 8.55am will have to enter via the Du Cane Road entrance and register at the all-through reception, which is located in the Primary. They will then be escorted to their lessons.

All visitors, parents and guests will arrive and leave via the Du Cane Raod entrance, at all times and also check in to the all-through reception.

The all-through reception is reached by following the pavement around to the left and entering the primary building.

Table Tennis Stars Compete for Places at National Finals

BDA’s table tennis team attended the London qualifiers last weekend, vying for places at the individual national finals to be held in Doncaster in June.

With players competing in the boys and girls U13 and U14 categories, there was a lot riding on the event.

Despite an extremely high standard, Cacherel Mirjah stormed to a monumental victory, securing his place in the U13 boys finals while Israel Awolaja grabbed his spot in the U14 finals with a hard-earned third place.

Demi Reid managed a very impressive fifth place in the U14 girls competition, which grants her first reserve status and a wildcard entry should a current competitor pull out.

Well done also to Eman buanani, Yassmine Al-Amire, Yassin seddik and Sudais Salihu, who worked very hard but just missed out on the qualification places.
