Secondary School Entrance Changes

From Monday 14th January our entrance on Wood Lane will be open to students only until 8:55am. Students will also leave via this entrance as usual at the end of the school day. Any students arriving after 8.55am will have to enter via the Du Cane Road entrance and register at the all-through reception, which is located in the Primary. They will then be escorted to their lessons.

All visitors, parents and guests will arrive and leave via the Du Cane Raod entrance, at all times and also check in to the all-through reception.

The all-through reception is reached by following the pavement around to the left and entering the primary building.

Musical Production of Grease is on the Way

The cast of Grease are in their final few weeks of rehearsals ahead of our annual school musical, which is to be performed on Tuesday 25th, Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th March.

Going by the success of previous productions, including last year’s extraordinary adaptation of Guys and Dolls, these shows are not to be missed.

Miss Yates said: "I have been so impressed with the commitment and dedication from all of the cast, and their hard work is really starting to pay off. We have some very talented students at BDA and this year is no exception.

"A special mention needs to go to the very talented Nardos Moges (10R) who took on the part of Sandy quite late into the rehearsal period, and Tamara Kovacevic(7B) who is setting an excellent example to the rest of the cast with her hard work and enthusiasm."

Tickets go on sale at the ‘Grease tickets’ table in the playground from lunchtime on Friday 7th. £3 adults and £1.50 for under 16s and concessions.
