Secondary School Entrance Changes

From Monday 14th January our entrance on Wood Lane will be open to students only until 8:55am. Students will also leave via this entrance as usual at the end of the school day. Any students arriving after 8.55am will have to enter via the Du Cane Road entrance and register at the all-through reception, which is located in the Primary. They will then be escorted to their lessons.

All visitors, parents and guests will arrive and leave via the Du Cane Raod entrance, at all times and also check in to the all-through reception.

The all-through reception is reached by following the pavement around to the left and entering the primary building.

Jack Petchey Award recipients chosen by peers

Ms Quinton: This week three Burlington Danes pupils were recognised for their achievement at the Jack Petchey Awards.

All three pupils were voted for by other pupils and went to Kensington Town Hall on Monday night to receive their awards in front of family and friends.

Congratulations to Bashir Hassan in Y10, Zakaria Ellis-Khan in Y9 and Sumei Awo in Y7! They are worthy winners who deserve recognition for their achievement. All three are now busy spending their £200 on things around school.

Bashir is going on a trip today with the Peer Mediators to the cinema while Zak has organised a jazz session for his music class.

We will be holding another pupil vote after half term in which you can now nominate six further pupils for Jack Petchey Awards. I will be launching this in assembly soon.
