Secondary School Entrance Changes
From Monday 14th January our entrance on Wood Lane will be open to students only until 8:55am. Students will also leave via this entrance as usual at the end of the school day. Any students arriving after 8.55am will have to enter via the Du Cane Road entrance and register at the all-through reception, which is located in the Primary. They will then be escorted to their lessons.
All visitors, parents and guests will arrive and leave via the Du Cane Raod entrance, at all times and also check in to the all-through reception.
The all-through reception is reached by following the pavement around to the left and entering the primary building.
Successful Primary Open Events
We would like to thank everyone who joined us for two very successful Burlington Danes Primary Academy open events this week.
On Wednesday evening and Thursday morning we opened our doors to parents and guardians of prospective pupils, interested in securing places for their children at our sister primary school set to open in September.
The school will welcome its first 30 reception pupils this year. From September 2015 onwards it will admit 60 children annually.
Our aim is to offer local children an outstanding primary education, giving them the best possible start in life and ensuring that they make a smooth transition to secondary school.
Dame Sally said: "I am really excited that we will open a primary school enabling Burlington Danes to offer an all through education from reception through to sixth form. ARK Schools has a very strong track record in primary education in London and runs four outstanding primary schools close by in North West London.
"As an all through academy we can offer families certainty about their children’s future and offer children a high quality education right through their school career."
