Year 10 Trip to Normandy
Ms Macpherson: Last week, 20 year 10s spent four days in Normandy putting their French GCSE studies into practice.
They had a number of French speaking challenges to complete, including buying ingredients in a French market and creating a meal with them, interviewing some French people in the street, making crêpes, and visiting a goat farm, where all the explanations about the cheese making process were in French.
By the end of the four days they were very confident in their speaking, and really impressed Miss Macpherson and Mr Preston with the quality of their language. Some were even brave enough to try some snails - and declared that they were 'délicieux!'
