Postcards to Syria
Year 8 geographers have been studying conflict this term and recently designed a series of postcards to send to Syrian refugees at camp Zaatari in Jordan.
The camp was first opened in July 2012 and is now estimated to shelter in excess of 150,000 refugees seeking safety away from the violence of Syria’s ongoing civil war.
The project, launched by Oxfam, will see students’ compositions printed and displayed on walls in the camp.
Be sure to follow @BDAgeography on twitter, where the designs will be posted and available to view with the hash tag #HelloSyria.
